The Ngaio Marsh Awards, in association with Auckland Libraries, invites booklovers to a thrilling evening of criminally good discussion with five talented Auckland storytellers.
Historical thriller writer Kirsten McKenzie will chair an author panel featuring fellow 2021 Ngaios entrants Jeannie McLean and Tannis Laidlaw, alongside Esther Glen Award-winning kids thriller writer Weng Wai Chan, and "Vegas" (TVNZ) creator and past Ngaios winner Michael Bennett.
The authors will discuss where their inspiration comes from, and how they bring fascinating characters and exciting stories to life, as well as infusing their tales with real-life issues alongside elements of crime and mystery.
